Running good TOK presentations
Overview
The 'Running good TOK presentations' workshop is run by Triple A Learning in close association with the IB and is open to experienced teachers of TOK in authorized schools. The time commitment required is around 6 hours per week.

Workshop time commitment will depend on the level of engagement from the participants, however it is expected to be around 4-6 hours per week in the case of a standard length workshop or 8-12 hours per week for a condensed workshop.
Registrations can be submitted up to 14 days (GMT +2.00) prior to the workshop start date. Any cancellation occurring 14 days or more prior to the first day of the workshop will receive credit for the full amount of the registration fee. Outline
The contents of these modules should include:
- Module 1: Expectations of the TOK Presentation
- the evaluation criteria, in harmony with the course
- choosing appropriate topics
- Module 2: The Presentation in Action
- narrowing the topic, setting goals
- working with a group on content and presentation - critiquing the presentation, awarding the mark
- Module 3: Placing the Presentation in the TOK course
- encouraging students to think in terms of TOK presentation
- building presentations into the course - scheduling: balancing flexibility and need to plan
Note that this workshop is fully recognised as part of a school's programme evaluation process.
